Essential Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer for the CBS Automation team. The function as an Automation Engineer is to deliver automation solutions in customer projects. As the Automation Engineer you will also handle investigations on reported faults and complaints regarding electrical and control system design. You also contribute to developing the long term automation strategy for the automation team as well as develop the automation team to make the CBS automation team an attractive place to work.Are you a brilliant automation engineer looking for new challenges? Key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:
• Programming of PLC, SCADA and or/DCS systems
• Design and creating P&IDs in AutoCAD
• Commissioning
• Process and regulatory knowledge
• Experience of industrial field bus technologies
• Electrical design
• Responsible for automation related design documents
• Automation design responsibility to ensure that product programs achieve all design objectives required to meet customer and business needs, including: feature and functionality, quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacture-ability, regulatory, compliance and cost.
• Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
• Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program
• Demonstrated strong trouble shooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program
• Ensuring that the quality targets are satisfied and retires technical risks as they arise on the program.
• On behalf of manager or design owner participate in technical reviews as independent reviewer
• Developing requirements flow down, architecture/system design and analysis, risk analysis, integration and test, manufacturing, field and customer support including corrective and preventative actions to ensure customer satisfaction
• Driving the architecture, vision and design requirements for the product all the time balancing implementation complexity, risks, manufacturability, serviceability and quality Installation support on customer sites may occur which involve occasional travels to customer sites.You will be based in Umeå, Sweden and be a part of the CBS team.

Are you up for this challenge?
To be successful in this role you need to have a B.Sc degree with relevant technical automation/engineering focus.You have a genuine technical interest and problem solving skills in combination with a strong drive and customer focus. You are comfortable in working at a high pace and to deliver quality on short notice. You have experience from working in a project driven organization and thrive in an environment that offers daily technical challenges.
Formal requirements are:
• Engineer (Swedish level of "Gymnasieingenjör" and relevant experience or "högskoleingenjör") in electrical technology or similar knowledge from working experience.
• English and Swedish as working languages, both written and spoken
• GMP knowledge
• EU work permit
• Programming of PLC, SCADA and or/DCS systems and design and creating P&IDs in AutoCADQuality Specific Goals
• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones
• Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
