Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION:The subject of nursing develops the knowledge about health and having a good life despite the presence of illness and/or disability. Another development area in nursing is the knowledge about a peaceful and dignified death. In nursing, it is not the illness nor the disability, but people's experiences, interpretations and reactions to the illnesses and diseases that form the focal point. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: The activities include 50 % teaching, course coordination, supervision and the distribution of summative assessments mainly in the subject of Reproductive and perinatal health. Furthermore, the candidate may be required to work in courses at the first and second cycle level within the institution's other main areas. The mission as a course coordinator involves developing and coordinating leaming objectives, learning activities, forms of summative assessments and evaluation criteria in relation to the content, purpose and current pedagogical research as well as quality assurance of the education using validated methods of evaluation. The position also includes dedicating 50 % of the time on research in reproductive and perinatal health. Additionally, it is expected that the candidate will make active efforts towards achieving the institution's goals, work in accordance with the business plan and participate in planned joint meetings and activities at the institution. The successful candidate is also expected to actively initiate and apply for external research funding. The applicant is expected to be able to teach in Swedish.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY:The qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance and in University of Gothenburg's Appointments Procedure for Teachers. To qualify for employment as a Associate Senior Lecturer the applicant should have been awarded a PhD degree in reproductive and perinatal health or have achieved equivalent scientific qualifications. Candidates having obtained a doctorate or have obtained equivalent competence no later than five years before the application deadline will be prioritised. Those who have obtained a doctorate at an earlier date may also be considered if there are special circumstances. Special circumstances are considered to be absence due to illness, parental leave for example. Reasons, dates and the extent of any special circumstances should be clearly specified in the application and accompanied by the relevant documentation.
