Internationella Engelska Skolan is seeking a driven and goal orientated Assistant Principal Pastoral for our school in Sundbyberg. As an Assistant Principal you will work closely with the teachers and the Student Care Team to ensure that the students get the highest quality of education. You will be part of the Management team and report to the Principal.

The ideal candidate has teaching qualifications, a proven track of strategic development along with leadership experience. Key areas of responsibility
• Assist the Principal in ensuring that the quality of our school are of the highest quality
• Responsible for that the school perform according to our goals
• Part of the Management Team
• Strategic development of the Pastoral area of our school
• Responsible for the Student Care Team
• Responsible for the Head of Years
• Place emphasis on developing the quality of social behavior within the school
• Promote loyalty to the visions and values of the school
• Inspire and motivate teachers
• Develop and implement communication flows, routines and structure in school in all areas that involves the Pastoral side of the organisation
• Integrate and makes sure that the Pastoral area of the school are in line with the Academic area of the school
• Responsible for the quality of the school from a Pastoral perspective. Follow up and do quality checks on routines and tasks performed.
• Responsible for staff members in SCT and the HoYs (development talks and HR)
Required competencies and desired qualifications/experiences
• Strong understanding of the IES vision, ethos and values
• Experience of leadership
• Strategic and systematic
• Strong pedagogical knowledge in relation to behavioral management
• Highest academic expectations for the staff and students
• Good communicator and relationship builder, parents, students and staff
• Structured and organized
• Driven and takes responsibility
• Honest, reliable and trustworthy
