As Area Sales Director you will be responsible for the set up and execution of the sales strategy for Northern Europe which includes Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. You will set up and monitor annual sales budget and you will lead sales team throughout the region. On a daily basis you are communicating and collaborating with global sales, engineering and operations teams as well as taking on responsibility for some customers. You are responsible for the quotation process, for optimizing the sales process and the area target setting and achievements.
Qualifications:
• A degree in mechanical engineering or in business management with additional education or experience in mechanical engineering
• Previous work in a global environment with a mid-sized company
• Fluent in both oral and written Swedish and English, other languages are considered a merit
• Great leadership skills, at least 3-5 years experience
• Motivational
• Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
The position is based in our office in Gothenburg, Sweden and reports to our Germany based Vice President of EJT EMEA.
