Are you interested in the heavy automotive industry and want to be part of the next generation of our transport solutions, this could be an opportunity for you!
We are a team of simulation and NVH engineers that supports several areas within Powertrain Engineering and also other areas within the Volvo Group. As a team member you will learn a lot about engine development in detail and you can contribute to make our future products even better. Close co-operation with design, production and testing is vital for a successful result. You will also learn a lot about how a truck is developed and how it works.
As a simulation engineer within Powertrain Engineering you will perform various types of simulations mainly related to load prediction and durability. Evaluate and analyse the results is a vital part of the work where the conclusions and recommendations are important in the product development work. We want to be part of the development process from start with concept selection to verification of parts and systems intended for production.
Method development and efficiency improvement is a natural part of our daily work and it is appreciated if you have an ambition to contribute. A dynamic valve train + gear train analysis is one area where we want to strengthen our team, so that will be one part of the role in combination with Finite Element Analysis.
To get a better diversity in the team we especially encourage women to apply.
If this sounds interesting we look forward to receive your application!
