About the Service Department
The service department at RaySearch Laboratories is an international team responsible for installation, support and education mainly for our European customers. We work closely to our service departments and distributors in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The Position
As an application specialist you will specialize in the treatment planning system RayStation® with the main tasks to supply application support and perform training in the system to its users. The RayStation® users are primarily our existing customers at clinics around Europe. The Service Department also supports the companys other service departments and distributors in Europe, USA and in Asia. The position requires some travelling in Europe and globally and will include several international contacts.
Personal profile and experience
We are looking for a radiation dosimetrist or physicist with a minimum of three years clinical experience from radiation therapy. You will be working with problem solving in collaboration with both users and RaySearch software developers. Training will be performed both in the office and on clinical sites, while assisting the customer in taking the system into clinical use. You will also assist RaySearch Development Department with input and suggested improvements from our users. Demonstrations of the system at international conferences is also one of your tasks.
You are a good communicator, have the ability to identify and understand customer needs and an interest in keeping good long-term relationships. You can quickly adapt to new contexts and appreciate various environments. You are able to plan your work independently and take great responsibility.
Qualifications
• Medical dosimetrist or MSc in physics or engineering, preferably medical/radiation physics
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience from a radiotherapy department, particularly from radiation treatment planning
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience from working with education and training is considered a merit
• Experience from working with support is considered a merit
• English is required, other languages considered a merit
