Jeppesen is looking for an Application Architect who will work in international projects, customizing our crew planning products to airlines. You will be technically responsible for the delivery, design and implementation, making sure that the system fulfills the customer requirements. Your first assignment will be a large new project, where you will work in close cooperation with both the client and our product development. You will be based in Göteborg and travel fairly frequently to the client.
Requirements
• Extensive experience of complex system design
• Understanding of data modeling
• You will act as technical leader therefore leadership skills are required
• You will be working directly with our clients, which require high level communication skills. You have a good command of the English language.
• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
Ideally you have
• Experience from Unix and scripting language Python
• Experience of on-line systems with high availability requirements
• Knowledge of hardware, architecture, sizing etc
• Good command of German
