Chief Rebel is looking for an animation champion to join our team to make awesome games that will inspire developers and players alike. You will initially be our sole animator, taking a large part of realizing our animation vision for our game. You are equally responsible for setting up a sustainable pipeline, workflow and being a part of the process growing our animation team in the near future.
Being the sole animator doesn't mean that you are alone. Here at Chief Rebel, we value collaboration, meaning that we are game developers first, working together cross-disciplinary to make the best games.
What you bring:
Professional experience on multiple shipped games.
Experience with hand key animation.
Deep understanding of game animation and how it can enhance gameplay.
Proficiency in current generation industry standard animation tools and workflow.
An open-mind and a collaborative attitude.
An ability to embrace feedback and share your knowledge with others.
A passion for games - and especially games that provide players with interesting choices and depth, be it MMORPGs, MOBAs, 1st Person Shooters or Fighting Games.
What you will do:
Produce a wide range of animations such as powerful melee attacks and memorable spells to breathe life into fantastical heroes, creatures and monsters.
Collaborate cross-disciplinary to ensure your animations strengthen the experience and play as intended.
Responsible for taking your animations all the way into the game.
Be an animation point of contact for our character and monster creations to identify animation needs and pitfalls.
