About the role
We are looking for an accounting professional who wants to combine qualified accounting work with a key SAP finance process responsibility. Working closely with the Group Accounting Manager, you will support financial operations, guide colleagues in SAP-related questions and contribute to smarter, more efficient processes.
The position is based in Södertälje, where close collaboration, knowledge sharing and team interaction are important parts of the role.
Job Responsibilities
Accounting responsibilities
In the accounting part of the role, you will help ensure reliable and high-quality financial operations. You will for example:
• Participate in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations and analysis.
• Use strong accounting knowledge to ensure quality in financial processes and reporting flows.
• Identify improvements and support automation, standardization and efficient ways of working.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance to align ways of working and improve end-to-end processes.
SAP Finance Process Responsibilities
In your SAP finance process role, you will be a go-to person for colleagues and a driver of continuous improvement. You will for example:
• Support, train and coach users in SAP FI/GL processes, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and escalation when needed.
• Translate business and accounting needs into clear input for process experts, IT and system development, and participate in testing and validation of SAP changes.
• Coordinate with SAP teams, IT, process owners and consultants to resolve issues and improve, simplify, standardize and automate SAP-enabled finance processes.
• Document SAP finance processes and support secure, compliant ways of working, including access, segregation of duties and audit requirements.
Who You Are
We believe you have a solid accounting background and enjoy working at the intersection of finance, systems and people. To succeed in this role, we believe the following experience is important:
Required experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in qualified accounting, finance operations or financial reporting, including month-end close and reporting flows.
• Proven experience in developing SAP data-driven applications and automated solutions, using tools such as Microsoft Power Query, to strengthen financial closing, reporting, and process efficiency.
• Strong experience with SAP in large organizations, including SAP S/4HANA implementation and testing, system integrations and dependencies, end-to-end finance processes, and initiatives focused on improvement, automation, and standardization.
• Experience from SAP S/4HANA or SAP implementation, testing and improvement projects, including process improvement, automation or standardization initiatives within finance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Meriting experience
• Power Query, advanced Excel, Power BI or other reporting and data visualization tools.
