About the position
We at Perido are now looking for an Accountant to join our client's team, an exciting and forward-thinking company in the automotive industry. The position is based in Gothenburg.
Key Responsibilities
Perform record-to-report accounting activities related to intangible fixed assets
Prepare and maintain SOX documentation, including conducting SOX-related reviews
Produce VAT reports for selected markets outside Sweden
Respond to audit-related questions and support external auditors as needed
Validate financial data and perform relevant accounting entries, with responsibility for specific balance sheet areas
Your characteristics
We are looking for a structured and analytical accountant with at least 3 years of experience from a Big Four Firm. As a problem solver, you take initiative and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can drive improvements and optimize financial processes. Additionally, you are detail-oriented, solution-driven, and enjoy collaborating across departments to enhance efficiency. Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in economics
At least 3 years of audit experience from a Big Four firm
Fluent in English
Meritorious:
Additional experience from at least one post-audit role or assignment is a strong plus
Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment for 6 months. Start asap.
