Your Future
The Security Prevention Engineer at NA-KD is responsible for building and extending plans for detecting and preventing different risks in our multi-cloud platform, vendors, code, and systems. There are also opportunities to contribute to other security initiatives for Risk Management, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration and Testing, IAM, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle.

The successful candidate should have a genuine interest in security, ethical hacking, engineering, data protection, technology, and keeping up with the latest security industry trends.
Responsibilities
The Security Prevention Engineer role will have the following responsibilities:
• Develop risk-management strategies for operating systems, networks and applications.
• Evaluate effectiveness for software and cloud architecture and identify vulnerabilities for mitigation.
• Create, communicate and promote the organization's vulnerability management policies to all assets across our multi-cloud environment and remote first culture.
• Perform vulnerability scans and audits, document the findings, and report to different stakeholders along with suggestions for remedial action.
• Work with product and engineering teams to keep a Secure Software Development Lifecycle on the left.
• Plan and implement counter-measures by a thorough evaluation of network, cloud and security tools, LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related devices.
• Assist in an emergency response program with a well-defined plan of action and effectively communicate it to the team. Review the cyber defense policies and configurations to evaluate for compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
If you have any of the below qualifications, please apply so we can get to know you better:
• Experience in vulnerability management and penetration and testing.
• Expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT) and threat hunting.
• Experience in secure and agile software and project delivery.
• Knowledge and experience of cloud infrastructure and operations, data security, software architecture, security framework, and regulatory requirements at local and global levels.
• Certifications in Penetration and Testing like CEH, CompTIA, OSCP, or GXPN to understand, identify and forestall sophisticated intrusion would be highly preferred.
• Familiar with latest technology trends on cyber security and industry-related threats with effective counter-measures.
