The Young Talent Program is a two year trainee program for engineers, starting in September 2016. As participant you will get a unique chance to explore and develop your potential and your talents. In the program, you will have the opportunity to both contribute to and influence the Tetra Pak development in a long perspective. You will be a part of an innovative technical environment at the absolute forefront of food packaging.
In the Young Talent Program you will become recruited to a certain department and position already from the beginning. You will follow a development plan that is specifically designed for you and your position. The plan will include a combination of job-rotations into different organisations, international assignments; work in your own department as well as formal training and seminars.
Main responsibilities
In this trainee position, you will work in product and technology development project teams developing simulation models and performing technical calculations using commercial Finite Element and/or Computational fluid dynamics.
You will maintain and drive the knowledge in the area of computational mechanics by participating in technology know-how projects, developing models and simulation methods and writing technical documentation. The position also includes analyzing results of experimental and test activities with the purpose of validating simulation results and building mathematical models of complex physical phenomena.
Qualifications
In this position, you will need a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics or Material design.
You have taken advanced courses in calculation and simulation methods such as the finite element method and/or Computational fluid dynamics. You have also done your Diploma work using any of these methods.
As a participant in the Young Talent Program you should have a mature and professional personality. You are a true team player and acting as a leader comes naturally for you when required. You have good communication skills and have the ability to create and utilize a broad international network. You like to solve problems and have a strong personal drive. You are passionate about applying your theoretical knowledge in actual product development challenges. It is important that you are result oriented with a strong technical interest and an analytical ability.
You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
