The Young Talent Program is a two year trainee program for engineers, starting in September 2016. As participant you will get a unique chance to explore and develop your potential and your talents. In the program, you will have the opportunity to both contribute to and influence the Tetra Pak development in a long perspective. You will be a part of an innovative technical environment at the absolute forefront of food packaging.
In the Young Talent Program you will become recruited to a certain department and position already from the beginning. You will follow a development plan that is specifically designed for you and your position. The plan will include a combination of job-rotations into different organisations, international assignments; work in your own department as well as formal training and seminars.
Main responsibilities
As an Automation Engineer you will work with industrial control and automation development of our packaging equipment with a focus on complex machinery. We are looking to strengthen our team in the areas of motion control, mechatronics and software development where you will have the opportunity to specialise in one or more of these areas. Your task will include scouting, developing and implementing technical solutions.
Qualifications
For this position we believe that you have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering or similar with complementing relevant specialisation.
Knowledge in Mechatronics will be considered a merit as is experience of high level programming and principles of software development. i.e. version handling, test driven development and continuous integration.
As a participant in the Young Talent Program you should have a mature and professional personality. You are a true team player and acting as a leader comes naturally for you when required. You have good communication skills and have the ability to create and utilize a broad international network. You like to solve problems and have a strong personal drive. You are passionate about applying your theoretical knowledge in actual product development challenges. It is important that you are result oriented with a strong technical interest and an analytical ability. You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
