The graduates will join fast-paced Software Development Teams and work as contributing members during a 12-month program. You will experience working with cutting-edge video streaming technology and being part of the development teams that are taking our platform to the next level.
What we want you to do
This opportunity will allow you to work closely within all departments/areas at Viaplay during your 12-month program. You will work in different development teams during the period. You will be exposed to a network of talented people within the leading streaming company in the Nordics. It will involve a steep learning curve, complex projects, and exposure to various areas of the technology and business. Our office is in Stockholm and our market is all across the Nordics. The graduate positions will be based in our offices in Stockholm.

Streaming media is the future of entertainment and we can offer you an opportunity to work with cutting-edge streaming technology. You will get experience in developing software and gaining unique insight into various aspects of the streaming media technology and how it is done at Viaplay.
What we ask of you
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentYou love streaming media and have lots of ideas how to improve or develop the technology and business
Entrepreneurial, Independent, and well organized
'Street smart' and ability to excel both in and outside the academic world
Team-player with strong communication skills
Development experience in Java or C#/.NET, knowledge of micro-service architecture
Web development with React, Angular Functional programming experience e.g. in F#, LINQ, Scala, Lisp, Haskell, ML
Experience of cloud platforms, preferably AWS but also Azure, Heroku
Knowledge of network and infrastructure concepts such as HTTP and REST
