Orkla Brands Purchasing is a division within Orkla Brands, working crossover the companies with the strategy to realize inter-company synergies within the group by sharing best practice and exploiting economies of scale.
For the right candidate this position can mean great promises for the future. The position will demand a lot of efforts from your side and pay off by offering large possibilities to make an impact on Orklas purchasing activities and overall future performance. Your location will be Eslöv and you will report to the Category Manager.
You will work with strategic sourcing within a category (examples of categories are: dairy products, grain based products, transportation & warehousing, paper-based packaging etc.) across all companies in Orkla Brands. You will assist and work together with the Category Manager to execute the strategic sourcing of the purchasing within the category. The challenge is to optimize the total cost of supply by continuous improvement within the defined product category
Main tasks:
Perform analysis to identify potential cross-company synergies and establish ambitious savings targets
Work with cross-company project teams
Assist in defining sourcing strategies
Develop and publish requests for proposals and prepare and carry out negotiations with suppliers
Your qualifications:
You have a minimum of 4 years of higher education, preferably a Masters degree. We think you have 1-2 years of work experience with relevant background. Newly graduates with strong academic records are also encouraged to apply. As a person you are an ambitious team player and you have strong analytical and problem solving skills. You are always able to keep a business-oriented view on things and you are highly motivated and positive to change. You have the will and the personality of a potential project manager. You are structured and organized with good people skills.
The position requires extensive travelling, up to 60 days per year, and you see this as a possibility rather than an obstacle. Your English skills are excellent and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office applications.
