Scania has a Joint Venture with Cummins Inc, to manufacture Fuel Injection systems. The JV consists of Machining, Assembly & Test. The operations are located in Columbus USA, Juárez Mexico and Södertälje Sweden.

The main role of the Product Change Request Assignment Leader will be to act as project manager for product changes to existing production components. You will be working closely with multiple disciplines including: Engineering for technical requirements, Purchasing for supplier implementation, Customer communication and the individual plants for validation and readiness.

Each Assignment Leader will own up to 20 projects at a time with a majority of projects involving working with European supply base for component or process changes. This role offers the opportunity to work globally with other XPI organizations.

Assignment;

• Project ownership

• Identify and organize appropriate team members to support the work

• Develop, document and track project schedules

• Chair periodic team meetings

• Assure that customer are notified of changes and that customer approval is received

• Report weekly on progress

• Elevate issues with PCRs to management in a timely manner

Profile

B.Sc or Masters degree or equivalent work experience. Flexibility and being able to work independently will be advantageous. Excellent English communication skills are required.
