About the Trainee program
During The trainee program, you will be developed and challenged in different focus areas on some of Parker's locations within the Nordic countries. The program's total time of approximately 18 months is divided into three to four periods of project work within sales, customer service, application engineering and within operations. At Parker you always have the privilege to work with sharp assignments, where you as a trainee lead projects based on real problems and improvement opportunities within our business.
To give you a good understanding of Parker's global business and to strengthen our international collaborations, we also offer opportunities for internship abroad. After your time as a trainee at Parker, you have a solid knowledge of our organization, business areas, products and corporate culture - and are ready to continue your career at Parker.
Knowledge requirements
The opportunities offered by Parker trainee programs are great. Therefore, we are also very careful to handpick the very best aspirants to the program - Those with the greatest talent, drive, dedication and potential. We are looking for you who want and can walk the extra mile; With a clear business and result orientation. At the same time, there is a need for good patience and a long-term approach, as we believe that the best leaders emerge through the knowledge and experience that is being spent over time. We are looking for a person who is communicative, committed and enterprising and possess good leadership skills.
To be current for the program, the following is required:
Engineering degree with specialization in industrial economics, automation and Software engineering, mechanical engineering, hydraulics engineering or other relevant area, Master's degree is a strong merit
Competence in one or more of the following areas: industrial economics, Production engineering, Automation, Lean, production management and Quality Engineering. Business development, Negotiations, Customer Relationships and presentations skills.
Good leadership skills that you have received perhaps from sports clubs or something else outside your professional life.
Good language skills (English and one of the Nordic languages) both written and spoken.
