On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a Property Manager for their increasing consultancy. The mission starts immediately where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 6 months. Publiceringsdatum2017-01-03Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Projects & Operation Buyer drives and executes purchasing activities after the supplier selection decision in cross-functional product projects (Start cost, PMRs with product feature or offering impact) and delivers on commitments in order to fulfill the purchasing part of GPOT and QDCF. The Projects & Operation Buyer continuously challenges the suppliers in terms of QDCF performance for parts in serial production.
What you will do:
• Manage all project related supplier relations (meetings, documents, feedback etc), and attend in applicable project cross-functional teams, after supplier selection decision. * Ensure deliverables from suppliers to fulfill APQP activities handled by SQA.
• Follow-up, negotiate and track changes between contract and actual project needs; product modifications requests in project phase and ensure alignment to cost objectives. * Answer the Calculation Requests (CRs) and ensure that all changes to cost- and lead time are updated in the system.
• Implement raw material updates based on contracts/negotiations made by the Sourcing buyer.
• Manage all the various purchase orders (tooling, prototype, PPAP notification, blanket/contract order etc).
• Ensure that supplier is prepared for production, including all needed system updates. * Manage all purchasing activities for unique CA parts (according to TIKA definition)
• Plan and drive the purchasing related SIPD (Supplier Involvement in Product Development) activities after production supplier selection.
• Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies by giving input to the Sourcing buyer on supplier performance towards local requirements after production supplier selection.
• Drive negotiation in order to find extra cost savings (on top of price agreements).
• Drive efficiency projects across the supply chain, according to available and promoted tools.
• Support low performance supplier activities.
• Responsible for initiating and/or negotiating product modification cost impacts after project phase, QJs and PMRs with no supplier switch activity.
• Following decision from the Sourcing Buyer, negotiate and ensure signature of agreements for cases defined as non-strategic.
• Perform purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows connected to suppliers excluding supplier base information updates.
• Follow-up contracts and agreements with suppliers and ensure implementation.
• Forecast part cost evolution (update of CSDB).
• Manage risk mitigation and crisis activities.
• Propose resourcing activities if needed; drive activities related to the supplier switch and ensure the sourcing part is handed over to the Sourcing buyer.
• Contribute to the BRM (Business Review Meeting) preparations by providing accurate and updated supplier performance scorecard to the Sourcing Buyer.
• Manage the overall supplier relationship (Supplier host role) with unique CA suppliers.
• Manage all tooling activities with suppliers after supplier selection.
• Take required actions in order to hand-over to After Market buyer when parts are phased out of production.
• Ensure collaboration with the other buyer roles within the respective segment(s).
