The role also requires the individual to occasionally work on the golf course with routine maintenance, such as Irrigation, drainage, mowing etc.
The main focus of the job will be to service and repair Ågesta's large fleet of machinery, order parts and keep the workshop in good operation.
Consisting mainly of Toro machinery, with a variety of Tractors, Mowers, hand tools and Forklift; the candidate must be flexible with mechanical knowledge from Diesel motors, hydraulic systems, petrol and hybrid and electrical motors. Training can be made available, but initiative is must for the individual to learn and progress.
It is also beneficial if the candidate has fair knowledge of basic electronics, carpentry and plumbing.

The maintenance department is predominantly English speaking with most staff from England, so the ability to speak English is a requirement.
During the golfing season the crew grows from 2 employees to 11.
Knowledge of golf is not essential, but helpful.

Ågesta Golf Klubb is searching for an enthusiastic workshop supervisor. Based in south central Stockholm, Ågesta has ambitions to be one of the best courses in the southern Stockholm region.
Consisting of a 18 hole course, 9 hole short course, driving range, chipping greens and a practice 6 hole short course, there is a large fleet of machinery to maintain all these surfaces. This is a great opportunity to progress as a mechanic.
For the 2019 season, there will be a team of 10 greenkeepers, plus theHead Greenkeeper & The Workshop Supervisor. The candidate must be willing to learn new skills and be a team player.
Positive attitudes and good communication skills are a must. We are a tight work force and have a great attitude in the department so a friendly, similar minded person is required.
The investment in to the department will allow the workshop supervisor to work to high standards and use the best products available; and with a new fleet of machines in 2018 and 2019/2020 Ågesta is an exciting place to work.
Ågesta is a complete golf facility only 15 min from the city. In addition to an 18-hole course that is of high quality, we offer a 9-hole course and clubhouse with everything you need. The 18-hole course was opened in 1958 and in 2008 a major rebuilding of green areas was carried out and the banqueting was led by Peter Fjällman.
