Syncron has used Workday as our source for data for a few years. Now, we're looking for a Workday Expert HCM to join the team responsible for the HR features in Workday at Syncron. As a Workday Expert, you will play a vital role in enhancing our usage of Workday by improving the current set-up, translating business needs and requirements into system functionalities and coming up with user friendly innovations.
In order to be successful in this role, we expect that you have previous experience from working with Workday. You are an organized and detail-oriented individual, you work well in teams and do your part to reach company objectives in a timely manner. Once onboarded, you perform effectively with minimal supervision. Simply put, you must be driven from within and not wait for others to put processes in place to support you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as HRIS partner for appointed HCM areas in Workday.
Identify opportunities to optimize Workday functionality and processes, mainly focusing on streamlining the current report and security role set-up. Proactively propose system enhancements, workflow improvements, and automation to streamline HR operations and improve user experience.
Serve as a consultative partner to Employee Excellence and the business as a whole to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
Provide guidance and support to end-users on Workday-related inquiries.
Design, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
Work with the Security and Employee Productivity (IT) teams to ensure compliance and data/user audits are performed in a structured manner.
Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards and analytics within Workday based on business needs.
When needed, work closely with our AMS partner to further improve the system.
Assist in the design of master data structure (including Supervisory Organization, Custom Organizations, job profiles, Location, pay groups, positions etc.).
Active participation in system upgrades and new releases.
Participation in the development and roll-out of the Workday/digital EE strategy and roadmap.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Workday Knowledge
Good knowledge about Workday HCM, including core HR and reporting. Knowledge about additional modules (Performance, Talent and/or Compensation), is highly meriting.
Experience working with security roles and set-up.
Ability to configure, test and deploy new business processes and amend existing ones.

Organizational Skills
Ability to collect and analyze information (quantitative and qualitative) in order to understand and assess the business' needs and situation and provide solutions.
Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication
High level of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
Service-minded, with good judgement and high level of integrity.
Fluency in communicating in business English in person or writing.

Business Acumen
Ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions and processes.
A mindset of continuous improvement and willingness to challenge the current state.
An ability to see the bigger picture and understand how one's own area of expertise impacts and is impacted by others.

HR Processes
Understanding of the employment lifecycle and at least some HR processes (talent, performance, compensation etc.).
