The position as E-commerce WordPress-developer will work closely with Mapiful's CEO and founder; who is currently the tech lead; in order to build and manage Mapiful's tech team of tomorrow. We are looking for a mid/senior developer (with CTO ambitions) that can independently analyse, identify, plan and execute improvements on the Mapiful platform. The perfect candidate will lead the way and take initiative by project manage themselves as well as the future tech team of Mapiful.
What we're looking for in a candidate:
Experience in modern web development.
Interest in well-written, structured, scalable and flexible code.
Interest in optimizing performance and availability.
Updated on the latest tech and always eager to learn new things.
Interest in good UX and user experiences.
Wants to contribute to and enjoy a fun and fast-paced company culture.
Experience in these languages: PHP
JavaScript
HTML/CSS
Experience in these tools: WordPress
Node
Modern JS SPA Framework
Post processing (Webpack, Sass etc)
Bonus points for:
E-commerce experience (WooCommerce)
Vue/Angular
Laravel
Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Digital Ocean) / DevOps / Distributed Apps (Docker, Kubernetes)
System architecture
CI/CD
MySQL
ES6
UI/UX interest
