Wireless System Specialist 5G Network Architecture
CoreChange is hiring on behalf of our client for an exciting opportunity in Kista/Stockholm.
Position: Wireless System Specialist 5G Network Architecture
Industry: Telecommunications
Location: Kista/Stockholm or Gothenburg or Luleå, Sweden. Traveling is expected, both within Europe (mostly) and to China.

About the position
We are currently looking for Radio Access Network (RAN), Core or Network level System Specialists to join our Wireless Networks Systems design team in Sweden. It is an R&D team responsible for RAN and Network level system design solutions, providing input to the product development projects and standardization relating to 5G.
The candidate will work with specification of the 5G Wireless Network and SW Architectures, supporting the future network service's needs, the demand for deployment flexibility, efficient management, and the migration from today's network and SW architectures.
Qualifications and experience:
The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience from R&D of RAN or Wireless Network level system design as well as working with wireless operators.
Specialist level competence in the following areas is meriting:
Standardization work in 3GPP or similar work in 5GPPP
Design of Network architectures from different perspectives using modeling languages,
e.g. UML
3GPP RAN architecture, Performance and functionality evolution End-to-End system architecture and functionality
SW Defined Networks and Cloud Computing
Open Source SW and Eco-systems
A Master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements:
The candidate must be innovative and productive, with a high focus on delivering high quality work on short timescales within an intensive & dynamic working environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and unsupported when required, but also be a team member. The candidate should be able to argue as needed, both to promote/defend what they see as the best solution but also to be open for suggestions from others.
We expect the candidate to be capable of actively driving the company internal as well as external forums in agreed strategic directions.
Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. The candidate
must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
