Wireless Software Expert

About the position
We are currently looking for a software expert to our Wireless Baseband Team at Huawei Kista office, to take on the challenge to develop the multi-standard baseband solution. You will be responsible for the software architecture for the next generation baseband, including layer 1/ layer 2/ layer3.You are the technical leader of the baseband software team to design the baseband software architecture for wireless communication systems (LTE, UMTS, GSM?) on multiple processors. You are going to work closely with other baseband members, such as algorithm designers, system experts, hardware designers and the work will be done in very close cooperation with the Huawei wireless organization in Shanghai.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 10 years industrial experience in software development and strong background in wireless communications, i.e. familiar with 3G and LTE and excellent knowledge on layer 1/ layer 2/ layer3;3+ years experience in baseband software architecture design is required.
A Master Degree or PhD in computer science, EE, wireless communication or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements
The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently.
Location
This is a fulltime position at our R&D office in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden.
