The person we are looking for is passionate about testing, prototyping and evaluating new technology features both as exploration of new solutions and as pre-development of new products.
Tasks and work items
Being an active member in technology projects with a focus on indoor positioning.
Develop and test technology demonstrators and proof of concepts.
Contributing to the prototyping and evaluation of technology features and new capabilities.
Interact with the SHO technology team members on evaluation and refinement of features.
Identify ideas and IPs to protect as patents for strategic SHO topics.
Work with PC SHO development and product strategy in the iterative phase from requests to concepts and towards products.
Personal profile
Clear interest in the latest upcoming and not yet standardized short range radio technologies.
Wireless systems skills, with a focus on Bluetooth and WiFi.
Competence in indoor positioning systems and solutions.
Capabilities to implement and evaluate new algorithms in Matlab.
Open for collaboration with academia and industrial partner.
Good communication skills; verbally and in written documents.
