hela Sverige As the Team Leader for Wire Harness or Product Engineers you will work in
projects to develop and construct the electrical distribution system in different
car models with regards to mechanical installation. You work with the overall
development of the wire harness belonging to your responsibility. Your designers
work encompasses 3D modeling of cables in CATIA V5 and creation of 2D
drawings in Mentor CHS XC and CatiaV5 EHF or other drawing creation tools.
You and your team will handle:
• Definition of geometry and installation requirements for new components
• Follow our customer specifications and requirements
• Perform Packaging Studies & Design Verification
• Perform & Support design reviews
• Preparation of Change Documentation
• Usage & Support of Automotive Quality Tools like FMA, DFMEA, SCCAF,
Design Check List
• Communication with our customer
• Support the Launch of Prototypes Vehicles in Customer Plant until the Serial
Production Start
You will ensure that your technical deliverables follow the overall program
timing. You will contact and collect design requirements, specifications and
recommendations from many different engineering departments, Systems
Engineers, Component Engineers, Process Engineers (assembly), Quality and the
Lear production plant. You will be responsible for execution of design reviews and
FMEA for your products and getting them approved of by other departments and
customers.
Qualifications:
Engineering Team leading skills and experience is demanded. Technical university
(mechanical engineer is preferred) and preferably some years of experience in
construction work in CATIA V5 (or equivalent 3D) systems in the automotive
business. Experience with automotive industry OEMs' systems, Catia V5 Electrical
Wire Harness, CHS XC, KDP, TCe and Product Manager (PM) is an advantage as
well. You have good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) and have
fluent command of English both spoken and written. Our main office is located in
Gothenburg and we also have offices at our customers in the automotive industry.
Your services involve frequent customer contacts and much collaboration with
Lear's global development office. Travels outside of Sweden are required. As a
person you are flexible and independent, gladly initiative and not afraid of taking
responsibility. You should feel well in a fast-paced environment, high expectations
and with a self-motivated project oriented work. Good social skills and good
interpersonal skills are essential. For the right person there are good opportunities
