hela Sverige We are looking for a co-worker to our awesome Windows team at Scania IT Infrastructure department.
We are a team of skilled Windows technicians and want to strengthen the team with one more experienced Windows Server Specialist to accelerate the automatization and modernization of our delivery.
The job is about to have overall technical responsibility for our Windows Server environments at the infrastructural level, to secure the strategy, development, and implementation of technical roadmaps, deployment process, and quality of service. You will work in very close cooperation with the rest of the team including our architect. Your experience will add value to our architectural and operational decisions.
To be successful in this role, and at Scania generally, you will need to have a curious and positive attitude towards assisting colleagues within the team and organization, you are also thorough and have a sense of quality in your job out to the fingertips.
Key responsibilities as Windows Server Specialist
• Be a co-driver in the team by proposing and driving development and improvements in our existing services
• Be part of the evaluation of our future hybrid environments and container solutions
• Assure and deliver documentation of the designs/setups and solutions
• Support the organization with complex technical troubleshooting
• Knowledge sharing is a natural responsibility in the team, for all team members
Skills
• You have demonstrable experience in managing Enterprise Windows Server environments
• You have knowledge of Microsoft System Center and the Azure automation process
• You master PowerShell and will be able to create solutions for our automation journey
• You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement
• You have good communication skills, are self-motivating, and are a confident and a humble team player
Education/Experience
• Relevant academic education and/or equivalent work experience in the area of work
• Experience in enterprise environments
• Knowledge of management of large MS SQL Server environments, tools, and products
• Fluent in English both oral and written is a must

The group Windows, Web & DB platform Development owns and maintains the Managed Services and Platforms used by delivery teams throughout the organization in provisioning of solutions to the Scania business functions. The team office base is in Södertälje but we work mostly "from where we are awesome". That is within the boundaries of a good sustainable work environment.
