Axis is now looking for the right person to fill an opening as Windows Applications Developer at the System Applications department within our Research & Development organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We build world class video management solutions for live viewing, recording and video playback, such as the award-winning AXIS Camera Companion and AXIS Camera Station. In our portfolio we also have AXIS Camera Management, a powerful and efficient installation and management tool. Our Windows applications are based on the .Net platform, using techniques such as Task Parallel Library, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and LINQ.
In order to continue strengthening our applications offering, we need to expand our System Applications team. We work with everything from designing enterprise class software to strengthening our current portfolio. Expect a lot of variation, since we handle everything from the network communication to the GUI layer. We think cooperation is important and we work in an agile environment using Scrum. We focus on quality, testability and continuous integration.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a Master's degree in computer science or similar and good knowledge in software design and development in C#, Java or C++. You also have some experience from designing multi-threaded object-oriented software. You're passionate about software development and a team player, contributing on both a technical and social level.
