JOB DESCRIPTION
As a complement to our broad network camera offering, Axis has a number of PC applications. The products include AXIS Camera Station, a comprehensive video management software for monitoring, recording, playback and event management, and AXIS Camera Management, a powerful and efficient installation and management tool. We primarily work with the .Net platform, using techniques such as Task Parallel Library, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and LINQ.
In order to continue strengthening our applications offering, we need more people to reinforce our System Applications unit. Expect a lot of variation. You'll not only be helping to maintain and upgrade our existing products, but also participating in all kinds of development projects - from minor ones, all the way up to those that are the keys to our future! We work in an agile environment, where we focus on testability and use continuous integration.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Typical candidates have a Master's degree in computer science or similar and good knowledge in software design and development in C#, Java or C++. We believe that you have some experience from designing multi-threaded object-oriented software. You're passionate about software development and a team player, contributing on both a technical and social level.
