WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A WINDOWS APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER?
As a complement to our broad network camera offering, Axis has a number of PC applications. The products include AXIS Camera Station, a comprehensive video management software for monitoring, recording, playback and event management, and AXIS Camera Management, a powerful and efficient installation and management tool. We primarily work with the .Net platform, using techniques such as Task Parallel Library, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and LINQ.
In order to continue strengthening our applications offering, we need more people to reinforce our System Applications unit. Expect a lot of variation. We work with everything from designing enterprise class software to maintaining our current portfolio and from the network communication layer to the GUI. We work in an agile environment, and we focus on testability and continuous integration.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a Master's degree in computer science or similar and good knowledge in software design and development in C#, Java or C++. You also have some experience from designing multi-threaded object-oriented software. You're passionate about software development and a team player, contributing on both a technical and social level.
