Role Summary/Purpose:
The electrical subsystem team is responsible for system integration for the complete electrical power generation and distribution system for an offshore wind farm.The main interfaces to other subsystems are the turbine shaft, torque brackets, mechanical structures and grid connections.The electrical power line of a wind turbine comprises all necessary equipment to take the mechanical power from the turbine shaft into electrical power through generator and converter.
Essential Responsibilities:
The System Integration Leader Cooling System Offshore Platform will have ownership and responsibility for the mechanical and electrical design solutions on a system and subsystem level for the power conversion cooling system and nacelle heat balance.
