Role Summary/Purpose:
The Wind – Offshore Controls & Operability Subsystems Manager will lead the wind turbine controls system design, validation and optimization for the offshore wind turbine platform. He/she will be responsible to optimize the control system including the PLC for individual turbine and wind parks.
Essential Responsibilities:
and work cooperatively with the COEs (Center of Excellences) on Components, Controls & Power Electronics and Generator, the system integration leaders on other wind turbine platforms like the 1.5MW and 2.5MW machines to share best practices. He/she will have technical leadership on the new product and technology introductions as well as providing the necessary input to the application and requisition engineering process as it relates to Controls and Operations.
