Who are IOPSYS?
Our vision is to be the key player that transforms and brings the open-source business model to the gateway industry. Maintain leadership in development and offer supported versions of enterprise software for the gateway industry.
In 2010 we started the development of our open source operating system for gateways, iopsysWrt. Today iopsysWrt is one of the most advanced, platform independent gateway software based on OpenWRT. We embrace open-source and contributes code to other open-source projects which enables IOPSYS developers get recognition for their work not only at IOPSYS but also in the wider community.
Currently we are located south of the city center of Stockholm but towards the end of this year we will move our office to the city.
The role:
• Design WiFi solutions based on IEEE 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi Alliance specifications
• Software development in C and python as well as network and wireless troubleshooting
• Support architectural decisions
• Support external as well as internal customers
Required skills:
• You have MS och BS in Electronics, Wireless Communication or similar
• You are on expert level in WiFi RF knowledge
• You have experience from design and development towards WiFi protocols and standards as well as from working in Linux/Unix systems (OpenWrt is a merit)
• We believe that you have 5+ year's experience from software engineering
• You are fluent in English, both in speaking and writing
