History
Nudie Jeans is a denim brand founded in Gothenburg in 2001 by Maria Erixon Levin. With a wear, tear, and repair-way of thinking rather than fast fashion, we provide and maintain a tradition true to the fabric's history and characteristics. Nudie Jeans is sold in over 50 countries, in Nudie Jeans Re-pair Shops, online and at third-party resellers. The company is privately owned and the headquarter is situated in the hometown of Gothenburg.
Since the beginning, sustainability, both environmental and social, has been the essence of the brand. Besides a denim collection made entirely with 100% organic cotton Nudie Jeans has a transparent production showcased on the website and has implemented an ambitious repair and reuse-program. A ripped pair of Nudie Jeans can always be repaired free of charge in a Nudie Jeans Repair Shop.
About the position
As part of the Wholesale Operations team, your main role is as a support function towards Nudie Jeans Sales Representatives and Distributors around the world. Your work is mainly administrative at HQ, however, may also include meetings and events which can include travel. Most of your tasks will be handled independently but you will be working in a close team and must always be ready to help and support others in their tasks when needed.
We sell four collections a year and therefore the intensity of the workload will vary around the collections selling periods. The role will, amongst other things, include, sharing the inbox at Wholesale Operations which include a variety of tasks (i.e. handling orders, communication with our warehouse, setting up new customers etc.). Close contact with our Sales Representatives, Supply Chain and Financial Department are a few of the main departments that the WS Operations personnel collaborate with.
This full-time position in the Wholesale is starting as soon as possible with 6 months probationary period with the possibility of permanent employment.
Multi-Tasking within several software and IT programs is a daily part of the position, so a basic knowledge in these is beneficial (see "essential experiences and qualifications" below). Your ability to communicate fluently both verbally and written in English is essential to this unique position. A positive outlook and being solution orientated is how we describe the ideal candidate. Your focus is to support the Wholesale Department by administrating "behind the scenes tasks" in order to easily provide necessary material and updates where needed.
Essential Experiences and Qualifications:
• Knowledge in Excel, Outlook and preferably Asana, M3, Centra and Qlikview.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Good IT skills.
• Self-driven personality with a can-do attitude and the ability to work both in a close team but also independently.
• Analytical, organized, structured, service-minded and effective in communication.
