Position description:
As a Wheel Suspension Engineer you will;
• Work within the focus area Wheel Suspension System, e.g. dampers, springs, subframe, control arms, bushings, fasteners,...
• Support supplier assessments and reviews
• Develop, calibrate and evaluate both vehicle and bench test data
• Develop and verify on vehicle level chassis related system & component requirements that meet the overall vehicle requirements
• Identify root-causes of identified issues during verification & validation and develop counter measures /solutions as needed
You will primarily work together internally with Project Leaders, Lead Engineers and Technical Specialists in addition externally with System Suppliers and engineering service providers.
Skills and required experience:
We are looking for someone who has;
• Relevant engineering experience within the work area, minimum 3 years,
• University engineering education or equivalent experience,
• Driver license B.
You master English both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to;
• Be solution-oriented and open minded
• have good communication skills
• have the ability to plan and prioritize
• have great technical knowledge, preferable within wheel suspension and/or chassis systems
