About the position
You will be a part of our Manufacturing Engineering team in Brännland, Umeå, as well as the Global JOST network within welding processes.
Ålö has an advanced robotic welding process, and our ambition is to continue to grow within this field. Therefore, we are now looking for the right person to lead the further development of our industrial welding manufacturing processes.
You will be located at our Brännland plant in Umeå, where you will coordinate and lead the process with developing and implementing new equipment and techniques to our welding process. As we develop within the field, you will together with the Global JOST Welding network ensure that the best practice welding processes are implemented throughout the JOST organization.
Your profile
You have a university degree in manufacturing engineering, welding engineering or equivalent. You have at least five years of experience working with industrial welding processes.
You have knowledge of:
• Manual and automated welding processes,
• Documenting and updating WPS and WPQR including assessment cross sections on weld map HAZ, pores etc.,
• Quality demands and valid ISO 140001, Weld standard 3834-2,
• Lean methodology and Industry 4.0 techniques,
• Project management,
• International working experience.
Furthermore, you can write and speak both English and Swedish and it is advantageous if you also have knowledge of the German and/or French language.
