At Gajd.me we believe in having fun while working and in the art of high quality engineering and design. Gajd.me is a startup building a Word of Mouth social service. With people you know, like and trust you share the best tips and recommendations about products, places and services.
Are you passionate about the web, social media, iOS, android or core backend coding? Are you curious, ambitious and genuinely interested in your field? You probably experiment on your own with mobile apps and or web projects. Do you favor open source projects?
We are looking for people that can work either full-time, part-time or extra hours. We have three areas where we need help. Either you master one or more of these areas.
• Front-End Web Developers
You have experience in writing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and good understanding web development best practices. A plus if you have experience from building social products (FB Connect, twitter API, Foursquare API) and experience from Amazon Web Services and MongoDB or similar document-oriented data stores.
• iOS and Android Developers
Do you have experience from developing applications for iOS and/or Android? Gajd.me will support both the iOS and Android platform for both mobile and tablet devices. To be considered we want you to master either iOS or Android or both. We would like you to give examples of applications that you have developed that we can take a look at.
• Back-End Developers
You have an understanding and experience of how to build a scalable web solution. You love the challenges of algorithms, data structures and complexity. We are looking for:
• Experience from Unix/Linux environments.
• Skills in debugging and testing.
• Experience from integration with popular social networks (Facebook/Twitter).
• Knowledge of standard Internet technologies like JSON, Javascript, Ajax, CSS etc.
• Very good understanding web development best practices.
• Experience with object oriented programming languages.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and MongoDB or similar document-oriented data stores.

• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to tackle challenging problems on a tight schedule.
• You learn new languages and technologies quickly, are innovative, enjoy challenges and have a great work ethic.
