As a Web Manager you work with a wide variety of assignments and collaborate with multiple parts of the development team. Your primary day-to-day focus will be creating and developing websites for marketing purposes in a WordPress environment. The responsibility does however also extend to the intranet, corporate web and to future initiatives for fully custom internal tools as required.
Together with the Global Brand Director, Digital Marketing Creative, Art Director and the rest of the marketing team, you will make sure that our franchises have a cohesive visual look and feel on the web.
From a technical perspective, you're not unfamiliar with setting up a development environment and managing the basics of web server and domain management. Although our main sites are set up through WordPress, we expect you to be able to develop fully customized websites both from a frontend and backend perspective, for example internal tools such as dashboards integrating and presenting external data, internally collated data and more.
Understanding Google Analytics, purchase flows and campaign management across several digital medias (Facebook, Twitter and Google advertising) and being able to advise on campaign and design decisions for our web presence from a data driven approach is a huge plus.
Your tasks range widely from brainstorming ideas, executing campaign strategies and producing sites. You are eager to take on different challenges, you are used to working under time constraints, you are organized and able to plan your time efficiently. You have a good sense of current technologies and trends and you also have a natural technical versatility coupled with good communication skills.
The position is in the Swedish Stockholm office.
Responsibilities:
Creating promotional product related websites
Maintaining all corporate websites, including
www.overkillsoftware.com ,
www.starbreeze.com , the internal intranet and more
Creating internal tools from the ground up, e.g. dashboards and data driven statistics systems
Liaise with external partners to create the best possible offers and campaigns from a web perspective
Provide guidance to web related suppliers working with Starbreeze brands
Qualifications:
A minimum 2 year of practical experience of web development
Strong knowledge in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and their current frameworks
Knowledge in MySQL, NoSQL is a plus
A working knowledge of WordPress
Able to work from wireframes and fully designed PSD templates
Strong working knowledge in Photoshop
Good communication skills, ability to work with multiple teams to produce required assets
Great with time estimations and workflow planning
Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with coding plugins and themes for WordPress a plus
with user interface design patterns and standard methodologies is a plus
Experience as a gamer is a plus
A natural interest for everything web related and a genuine willingness to not only follow the working standards, but also be in the front line of setting tomorrows benchmarks
Fluency in English is a must as this is the working language
