Stockholm Environment Institute is a dynamic, expanding workplace that employs around 90 people from 28 different nationalities in an activity-based office in central Stockholm (Garnisonen), and with an additional 140 employees in centres around the world.The roleWe are looking for an experienced, organized and proactive Web Editor to join our Corporate Communications Unit. This is a central role where you will develop and maintain the digital profile and capacity of the organization. You will work with employees across our ten office locations around the world to manage and improve SEI's digital activities, including curation and editing of content. You will also ensure user-focused, high-quality and innovative content on SEI's digital platforms.The Corporate Communications Unit is one of two units in the communications department at SEI Headquarters. The unit's goals are to enable better messaging; provide quality assurance and promotion of content; manage SEI's branding and visual identity; and lead the improvement of our digital ecosystems.This is a temporary substitute employment (approximately 12 months) to cover for an employee on parental leave.Key duties and responsibilitiesSupport the global communications team on the use and improvement of our digital channels, and be the main point of advice for content and platform questionsManage SEI's main Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts; including follow-up and analysis of analyticsCollaborate with and lead the work of our digital agency to improve the SEI websiteEdit and produce digital content in English, and occasionally write features and other digital contentRun the global editorial meetings and manage our editorial planning toolCreate and maintain documentation to support communications processes and improve the quality of digital contentCreate, send and improve our monthly email newsletterPublish content to the SEI website and provide quality assurance on the content and formatting of work posted by othersProvide support (including technical publishing assistance in WordPress) to our global communications teamConduct training for new and existing staff on web publishing, social media, and related topicsWho you areWe are looking for an organized and proactive digital communicator with experience creating, producing and publishing content on the web. You will be SEI's global expert on our digital platforms, and will enable others in the team to publish and share their content while upholding the integrity of SEI's brand.Because this is a central role at a global organization, you need an inclusive mindset and the ability to balance conflicting priorities.
