Klarna is looking for a Web Development Manager to the office in Sweden.

This role will suit you who are looking for a fresh and exciting challenge as a Web Developer Manager within a very successful and growing team at Klarnas Marketing Department who are core to Klarna in delivering cutting-edge web development and Web based applications that serve all markets on a global level.

You will take charge of one of the most important roles at Klarna by assuming responsibility for all of Klarna?s consumer and merchant fronting websites on a global level. Further you will manage the site roadmap; defining project scope and ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality requirements working with team and consultants to deliver the expected results. Develop ideas and introduce the team to new technologies and opportunities and take charge of supporting business goals through web development, functionality and interaction design is also your responsibility. We want you and your team to ensure that we build web projects that meets both business goals as well as the goals of the users. You will report to Head of Marketing.

You will also:
• Structure, quality control and prioritize web development projects
• Optimizing website performance: commercially as well as technically
• Documenting technical architecture and platform, including setting and maintaining coding standards

Who are you?
• Experience as a team leader and project manager in agile programming projects
• Programming background is an advantage. Need to know what?s practical, understand the concepts behind web development and be able to determine which solution would be the better in any given situation
• Excellent understanding of online marketing, the web industry, usability, analytics and tracking
• Having worked together with web agencies or consultants is a plus
• Being able to multi-task, prioritize and work towards a deadline under pressure
• Business oriented. The site exists of a reason, to fulfill business goals as well as user goals. This person needs a business oriented thinking to not forget about the business
