JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis' overall goal is to further strengthen and develop the company's position as the leading supplier of network video solutions. In order to do so we need enthusiastic and bright people. At the moment we are looking for a Web Developer to our Firmware Interfaces team.
As Web Developer you will play an important part in development projects, producing software and the GUI for the embedded environment in our products. You will belong to the department responsible for developing and handling Axis Camera's web interface and APIs and your main tasks will be to:
• Drive architecture and technical design of the Axis Camera Web GUI
• Perform analysis and translate requirements into new functionality in our network cameras
• Perform debugging and find solutions

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that the suitable candidate has a Master of Science or similar, with at least 5 years of working experience. You have experience from designing web based frontends and a history of working with different browsers.
We furthermore think you are a creative, open-minded and result-oriented person that can work well on your own and in a team. As teamwork is crucial for Axis, it's important that you can contribute to a good team spirit in a high-pressure environment. Your communication and listening skills are excellent, and you have a strong sense of responsibility and are good at taking initiatives.
In addition to the above, experience from the following areas is required:
• JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
• Web development frameworks
• HTML(5)
• CSS(3)
FIRMWARE INTERFACES TEAM
Firmware Interfaces is part of our Product & Services department. Within the Firmware Interfaces team we are responsible for developing the APIs and the Web GUI used in Axis' network cameras.
Product & Services is a unit within Research & Development responsible of supporting the products on the market. We work close to the sales and support organisation worldwide and help them in their day to day struggles.
