Job description:
You are a smart and highly skilled web developer with a burning heart for high performing web solutions. You know all about modern web technologies and you can do solid work in PHP and create wonders in Javascript when needed. You will be working in the platform team tasked with improving the Boozt e-commerce platform. This includes adding new features and optimizing the user experience. Also you will be working with adding new fashion brands to our portfolio. Your colleagues are all skilled and hand picked e-commerce specialists.
Your responsibilities include:
• Development of efficient and high performing web modules in PHP
• Implementation of frontend features
• Development of administration tool for managing the webshops
• Data integration in a service oriented architectural infrastructure
• Meeting and workshops with design, marketing and business owners
• Test and quality assurance of the solution
We expect the following of your profile:
• Strong technical web skills and experiences from building high performing web sites
• Experience with object oriented and modular based development
• Ability to work structured and process oriented using MVC and design patterns
• Experience with most of the following web technologies: PHP, HTML, XHTML, DHTML,
XML/XSL, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax
• Experience with SQL and database optimization
• Experience with service oriented architecture - SOAP/REST/Web Services
• Experience with release planning of major software projects (we use GIT for source code control)
• Knowledge of development frameworks (we use Symfony2)
• Experience from enterprise development and/or e-commerce solutions is a plus
