Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be joining the core team in our Stockholm office. This means you will be working with product development and maintenance.
You are a self-going and independent developer and entrepreneur that have the ability to prioritize your own work. You are driven, creative and innovative. You show a willingness and eagerness to learn. You are good in communicating and have a positive attitude.
You responsibilities will include:
• Designing and building new features into the Portfoliobox platform, creating UIs with modular JavaScript and building backend services with PHP.
• Practicing disciplined software engineering (e.g. automated testing, code reviews, and writing beautiful, pragmatic code.)
• Writing server-side code for web-based applications, creating robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly. You should also have a strong understanding of, and practical experience with front-end web application development.
• Building and maintaining platforms and systems infrastructure at the core of Portfoliobox.
• Working closely with other engineers.
• Leading and pushing for new solutions
Utbildning och erfarenhet• Experience in building highly interactive web applications.
• Strong understanding of database design and MySQL, caching and scalability and performance optimization.
• Experience in distributed systems, performance analysis, network systems, large-scale storage systems, and web infrastructure, with extensive knowledge of Linux systems.
• Complete understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Extensive programming experience in PHP and Javascript (strong OO skills preferred).
• A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design practices.
• Extensive experience in modern Javascript libraries such as AngularJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS or similar.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• BS, MS, or PhD in any relevant technical engineering education.
