Do you want to join the world leading company within high-fidelity endovascular medical simulation solutions? Right now, we're helping Mentice find a Web Developer who wants to develop simulation solutions that help healthcare professionals with skill acquisition, continuous improvement and pre-procedural planning.
Since their inception back in 1999, Mentice mission is to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes by introducing innovative solutions that eliminate proficiency barriers. Their solutions have been specifically developed for healthcare providers and the medical industry. With their experience and more than 50 patents, they have taken simulation to new heights of reality.
What's in it for you?
The MedTech company Mentice is an international company with around 120 employees with half of them working within the Technology department. As a developer you will play an important role and join a multi-cultural company with over 20 nationalities and offices in Europe, USA, and Asia. The technology team consists of passionate Developers, QA Engineers and Project Managers.
The recently formed web development team develops, maintains and operates their line of web-based products including e-learning publishing, community portals, web services, system update and support, as well as integrations to other parts of their business infrastructure.
To thrive in this role, they see that you are passionate about problem solving and excited to engage in the web development work. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in various cross functional projects. For the right person there is opportunity to take a leading role within the web development team.
To be the one they are looking for, you have:
A solid technical background with a couple of years documented experience in web development
Capacity to work in the following technology stack: React, GraphQL, AWS hosting, Azure devops, TypeScript and Python
Great interpersonal and communication skills and a customer-oriented focus
Proficient in English; both verbal and in writing. Knowing Swedish is an advantage
Any degree in engineering/systems development, or equivalent
A background within Healthcare or MedTech industries, or experience in developing e-learning solutions are considered as advantages.
About Mentice
Mentice is an innovative MedTech company with headquarters located in a nice office in the center of Gothenburg. They are 120 people worldwide with offices in Denver, Chicago, New York, Tokyo and Beijing. About half of the employees are located in Gothenburg.
Their main product, VIST, is a simulation- and training tool for endovascular surgeries where doctors and students can improve and acquire new skills and maintain proficiency for complex and low volume therapies. They exist to create meaning and to help improve patient outcomes and clinical performance.
