Mentice is the world leader in virtual reality-based interventional medical simulation solutions. Our solutions help healthcare professionals with skills acquisition, continuous development, and pre-procedural planning - leading to improved productivity and outcomes. Mentice solutions have been specifically developed for healthcare providers and the medical industry. Neurovascular, cardiovascular, and peripheral interventions are just some of the areas covered by our systems.
Mentice is now looking for two Web Developers to join a great multi-cultural team (with over 17 nationalities and offices in Sweden, USA, and Asia) of passionate Developers, Hardware Designers and Project Managers.
Web Developers at Mentice work with our Product department to develop, maintain and operate our line of web-based products including e-learning publishing, community portals, web services, system update and support, as well as integrations to other parts of our business infrastructure.
We hope you share our passion in helping save lives, but also have documented experience of professional web development and a capacity to work and help drive the team forward in an agile environment. Working at Mentice you will need to communicate and cooperate with many colleagues in different parts of the organization and enjoy finding solutions to complex problems, collaboratively as well as independently. We value thoroughness, humility, good judgement, and an enterprising mindset.
Requirements for the Web Developer positions include:
• A solid technical background with 2-5 years documented experience in web development.
• Capacity to start working in the following technology stack: React, GraphQL, AWS hosting, Azure devops, TypeScript, Python
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a customer-oriented focus.
• Proficient in English; both verbal and in writing. Knowing Swedish is an advantage.
• Any degree in engineering/systems development, or equivalent is an advantage.
• A background within Healthcare or MedTech industries, or experience in developing e-learning solutions are considered as advantages.
The positions are fulltime employments reporting to the Director of Software Applications Development located at the headquarters in Gothenburg.
