In addition to the websites where we collect, analyze and structure product reviews, we have established business partnerships with a number of leading websites such as Samsung, Philips, Nikon and many others. alaTest has offices in Stockholm, New York, Berlin and Wuhan and operates product reviews sites for consumers in 20 markets across the world.
We are looking for a part-time Web Designer with good knowledge of usability, who will be part of our web team in central Stockholm.
As a Web Designer at alaTest, you will participate in development initiatives focused on usability and work in close co-operation with different departments at alaTest. All design and product management take place in Sweden, whilst the front-end development is carried out by our remote engineering team.
Key job responsibilities:
• Design of our web sites and our mobile services
• Design of the web based services we offer to our B2B clients
• Make sure the usability dimension is catered for in our development projects
Personal skills:
• Thorough and flexible at the same time, a true doer that makes things happen
• A creative team player, always focused on making our users happy
• Structured with the ability to plan, organize and deliver
• You have an eye for details and can create beautiful interfaces without losing track of the possibilities and limitations of html/ccs and other technical boundaries
• Our corporate language is English, and we are a truly international working place, so good knowledge (spoken and written) in English is a must
Job requirements:
Excellent portfolio showcasing strong web ideas
• Experience creating contemporary websites and interfaces
• Experience, and a keen interest, within user testing
• You have some sort of design education
• At least 2 years of experience as a Web Designer
Desirable skills:
Knowledge of mobile platforms and the design challenges connected to developing a user friendly application.
Note that this position is a half-time employment (which might become full-time in the future).
