Web Designer/Web Design Junior
ROLE:
Armchair Gaming Ltd are looking to hire a Web Designer with 1-2 years experience to work on new and existing websites alongside the existing design team. The company will however consider a junior web designer, provided the candidate is willing and able to learn quickly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and develop the company's new and existing websites. The role involves working closely with the UK based team to implement design/content changes to a deadline, as well as regularly creating engaging promotional flash banners.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
Proven Photoshop and Flash design skills
Excellent Knowledge of Dreamweaver
Excellent knowledge of Web standards (XHTML and CSS)
Knowledge of JavaScript
Knowledge of ActionScript
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Desirable but not essential:
Knowledge of Illustrator
Knowledge of graphic design and producing print ready artwork
Experience of using frameworks/libraries such as prototype, jquery, moo.FX, etc.
