We're looking for a creative, skilled and passionate Web Designer to design and develop Opera's Web sites with focus on My Opera community, our fast growing social networking site with more than 1,6 million members.
You will be a part of a small team located in our Gothenburg office and get a chance to work with the very latest Web technologies in a company that cares about open Web standards. Our Web sites are optimized for all of Opera's browser products, and are designed to work on any device such as Nintendo Wii, mobile phones and desktop computers.
Requirements
• Strong design skills with a preference for clean, elegant look
• Good knowledge of Web standards and CSS-driven layouts
• Writing semantic and validating markup by hand
• You need good communication skills, and you also need good working knowledge of English, written and spoken
• Knowledge about accessibility
Ideals
• Interest in Web 2.0 and user interface design
• Experience building social networks or similar applications
