Web Designer /Front End Developer
To work in the context of an EU-funded project called E-Platform: Telling the real story - Information campaign targeting Somalis and Eritreans in Ethiopia and Somalia.
This information campaign will mainly reach out to Eritrean and Somali refugees in countries of transit and first asylum in Africa, with a view to inform them about the full scope of the perils and difficulties related to irregular onward movements to Europe and about other possibilities to find protection and durable solutions. The e-platform is aimed at attracting a diverse audience and will be multilingual, serving content in English, Tigrinya and Somali. S/he will be responsible for the development of a user friendly website that is easy to navigate, innovative and has a strong visual presence that reflects the objective of the project.
A good understanding and experience in developing websites on open-source CMS such as Wordpress or Drupal and key modules to implement a multilingual solution is required.
