We are growing our online business and are recruiting a Web Developer to take responsibility for creating and maintaining the online identity of all public Universum sites in close collaboration with print designers and developers
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As a web designer at Universum you transform print graphics and business concepts to a format that developers can make use of: Wireframes, prototypes and eventually well-structured html and CSS documents.
As an online expert you are curious about new technology. You follow the development of the Internet closely and continually work to implement your new ideas on the Universum sites.
When creating web sites you’re not only concerned with how they look but also the usability and the overall user experience. To implement your ideas you are skilled in either JavaScript and/or Flash (AS2/AS3).
Since you will be working with multiple projects simultaneously you have to be structured and used to working with short deadlines. It’s also good if you have experience working with agile project models such as RUP or SCRUM and source control.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Excellent knowledge XHTML, HTML and CSS
• Basic knowledge of XML and its associated applications
• Knowledge of AJAX, including DOM scripting and JavaScript coding (using libraries such as Mootools, Prototype, jQuery), is a plus
• Expertise in current web trends and standards, including proposed standards and understanding their impacts on current “best practicesâ€?
• Strong skills in Photoshop/Illustrator/Fireworks
• Skilled in graphic design, color theory, layout and typography for the Web
• Great communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience of SEO issues and previous work with a CMS
• Meriting; skills in ASP.Net with C+
• Fluent in English language

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• You will be based at one of our offices in Stockholm.
• The remuneration is a combination of a fixed salary and a performance related bonus
