Web application Tester to APSIS
We are looking for a Web application Tester for our market-leading, web-based email marketing application Apsis Pro. Quality assurance is a vital part of our development and you will be a very important part of Apsis' product development.
At Apsis, we work with one of the market's most dynamic web-based software solutions and we are looking for a tester who loves new technology, web applications and browsers. You will be a part of our Test Department and you will work closely with the Development Team in Malmö and in Warsaw. You will test all parts of the system and be responsible for designing test cases for new and existing features. The testing is done in different phases of product development and the work is varied, with testing of anything from minor bug fixes to new versions and functionalities. You will also take part in planning, optimizing test work and processes.
Your responsibilities
• Review requirement specifications, test analysis and design manually/automated test cases
• Conduct functional/non-functional tests, follow-up and report test result to the test manager
• Test of Web Services
• Close cooperation with the test manager, software tester, business analyst and software developers (onsite and offshore)
Your background and your personality
You are an experienced tester with high focus on quality assurance and a passion for software verification. You have previous experience of testing web-based tools and solutions. You are analytic and have a strong interest of our users' behaviour. You are interested to be involved, suggest improvements and make your ideas heard. You are an independent individual, curious, thorough, structured, analytic and driven. You have the ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment and you are willing to make the effort and see pride in delivering a product with high quality.
Your profile
• You have at least 3 years of experience from software testing
• You have experience of assignments within web applications and web-based tools
• You are certified within test, such as ISTQB
• You have experience of different test processes, test phases, test methods and test techniques
• You have experience of designing manually test cases
• You have excellent written/oral English communication skills
• Good to have strong written/oral Swedish and Polish communication skills
• Good to have experience of testing Web Services
• Good to have experience of test automation and different script languages
• Good to have experience of designing automated test cases
• Good to have experience of different test tools
• Good to have experience of working with onsite and offshore teams
